Last weekend before the flu attacked like whoa, we spent an awesome afternoon in Hampden, the “hipster hood” of Baltimore. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a winter-friendly stroll about a small town. There are a bunch of great, quirky little shops and vintage thrift shops to duck into to avoid the winter chill. Also, the restaurant choices are awesome!
We decided to try out Cafe Hon, a place that celebrates old-fashioned “Bawlmer Murlin”, complete with an Elvis Statue, beehive wigs and checkered diner-style tables and plastic booths. The food and service were great and we had fun people-watching from inside our window table.
